Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted while out on his mobility scooter in Lostwithiel.

The victim, aged in his 40s, reported that he was approached by three men near the river at Coulson Park in the late afternoon into the early evening of Tuesday, July 28.

Detectives are investigating a report that the man was assaulted before escaping his attackers uninjured.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have any information that could assist the investigation, to make contact.

“Please contact police online or by telephone on 101 quoting crime reference number 50260199491.”
