Balti Curries in Falmouth is inviting the community to join them for a special charity lunch this weekend to raise funds for those affected by the recent ice flood in Nepal.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6, with lunch served from 11am to 3pm at Balti Curries Restaurant, 47 Arwenack Street, Falmouth.
Organisers say they hope to unite the local community to raise urgent funds and awareness for families impacted by the disaster, which has sadly claimed hundreds of lives.
“The impact of these natural disasters has left many in dire need of assistance, and every contribution counts,” a spokesperson said.
Restaurant owner Hem is warmly inviting people to join him on either afternoon for what he describes as a meaningful gathering.
“Your presence will not only enrich the experience but also help us achieve our fundraising goals,” the spokesperson added.
Attendees are encouraged to bring friends, family or colleagues.
“Every additional guest helps to amplify our reach and support those who are suffering. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by this tragedy.”
