Let's Dance, the national campaign inspiring people across the UK to embrace dance as a way to improve health, connect with others, and have fun, is returning to the Eden Project on Sunday, 8 March 2026.
Founded by Angela Rippon CBE, Let's Dance brings together dance organisations, health professionals, community groups, celebrities and charities like the Eden Project to get more people dancing together, regardless of age, fitness level or experience.
During the day, visitors to the Eden Project can see performances in the Core and the Gallery from local schools and dance groups. With styles ranging from ballroom to street dance, there will also be accessible guided workshops, allowing everyone to get involved.
Simon Townsend, general manager at the Eden Project, said: "Let's Dance is all about participation and we're thrilled to be hosting local schools and groups for the second-year running to showcase just how important connecting people with nature is to boost health and wellbeing. Visitors should keep their eyes out for surprise flash-mob performances too!”
Angela Rippon CBE added, “Dance is so much more than just movement – it's about connection, joy, and wellbeing. Let's Dance aims to make it easier than ever for people to find a suitable dance activity, breaking down barriers and showing that dance truly is for everyone.
“Whether you're a seasoned dancer or someone who hasn't moved to music since your school days, March 8th is your invitation to join in, watch, be inspired, and remember that dancing is one of the most natural and joyful things we can do together.”
Let’s Dance follows the launch of a new three-year Nature: Connection and Recovery programme by the Eden Project, funded by the Climate Action Fund at the National Lottery. Six UK communities most affected by climate change and health inequalities will receive support to connect people with nature and boost wellbeing. The programme includes nature recovery, food growing, and art projects designed to engage local people – particularly those facing mental health challenges – in climate-positive action.
Other nature-based wellbeing activities include yoga, which returns to the Mediterranean Biome every Saturday until 28 March, following the success of its January sessions. The Eden Project also hosts parkrun, a free weekly 5k community event. Both yoga and parkrun participants enjoy free access to the rest of the site for the day. From 7 - 15 March 2026, visitors will be able to use any National Lottery ticket to enjoy free entry with a guest to the Eden Project.
Entry and participation in Let’s Dance is free for existing Annual Pass holders, Members and Locals’ Pass holders.
Participation in Let’s Dance is free for visitors with admission. For more information and to pre-book online for the best price, visit www.edenproject.com.
