Residents in Saltash are being invited to share their views on the future of public toilets in the town.
Saltash Town Council is reviewing the long‑term provision of the facilities and is seeking feedback before any decisions are made. Toilets are currently provided at Longstone Park, Belle Vue, Waterside and Alexandra Square.
In assessing their future, the council says it needs to consider “usage, condition and maintenance, security, accessibility, opening hours, the needs of residents and visitors, and the ongoing cost of provision.”
A spokesperson said: “The consultation seeks your views on the importance of each facility, investment in improvements to address safety and vandalism, and the future provision of public toilets in Saltash.
“No decisions have been made at this stage. Your responses will help inform the town council’s consideration of the future provision of public toilets in Saltash.”
The consultation is open until Monday, September 21, 2026, and takes around three minutes to complete. Residents can also scan QR codes on posters around the town or pick up a paper copy from Saltash Guildhall or Saltash Library Hub.
