WAX Gym is excited to announce the donation of essential school supplies to every student at Newquay Tretherras, benefiting over 1,700 students for the upcoming academic year. This includes a black pen, a red pen, a pencil, a ruler, and a rubber for each student - these will be handed out on the first day of term
In previous years, WAX Gym’s school supplies giveaway has reached a few hundred families. This year, we are proud to expand our efforts to cover everyone at Newquay Tretherras, ensuring that each student is equipped for success.
“Despite the current challenges of running a business, we believe it’s more important than ever for companies to give back to their local community,” said Sarah Withers, General Manager of WAX Gym and Newquay Sports Centre. “At WAX Gym, we’re committed to making a positive impact and supporting our future generation.”
WAX Gym has always been dedicated to giving back to the community through various local initiatives and giveaways. Notably, the annual WAX NQY Fireworks event which is scheduled for November 2nd this year. Last year’s event raised funds for Free Women's Self Defence classes throughout 2024, Free Men’s weekly Mental Health Survival School programs, and Free Knife Defence Workshops.
