Events Manager: 

Rewind Radio is seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Event Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events that align with the radio station and engage our audience.

From live music performances to promotional campaigns and community events, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our listeners and fostering a strong connection with Rewind Radio. This is a unique opportunity to combine your passion for events with your love for music and radio.

Responsibilities:

1. Event Planning: Collaborate with the sales and programming team to create, plan, and execute a variety of events, including live outside broadcasts, promotional campaigns, and community engagement events.
2. Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
3. Client and site communication: Work clearly with a variety of people including clients and venues to ensure the successful execution of events.
4. Event Promotion: Work closely with the programming and digital team to develop comprehensive event marketing strategies, including social media campaigns and on air campaigns to maximize attendance and create buzz around events.
5. On-Site Event Management: Oversee all aspects of event operations, including setup, audiovisual requirements and security, to ensure a smooth and successful event experience.
6. Sponsorship and Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with potential event sponsors and partners to secure financial support and enhance event experiences.
7. Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive post-event evaluations to assess event success, collect feedback, and identify areas for improvement in future events.
8. Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative event concepts to ensure events are on the cutting edge and align with the brand image.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in event management, preferably in the music. hospitality or entertainment industry.
2. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
3. Creativity: Demonstrated creativity in event conceptualization, theme development, and experiential design.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and artists.
5. Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven ability to think on your feet, handle unexpected situations, and troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively during events.
6. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships in a fast-paced environment.
7. Flexibility: You will need to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required by event schedules.
8. Passion for Music and Radio: Strong interest and knowledge of music and radio industry trends, artists, and genres.
9. Must have a full UK drivers licence.
