The NHS health team will also be available to provide: blood pressure check, cholesterol, weight/BMI, health and vaccinations advice, Q-risk score (risk of developing cardiovascular problems such heart attack, stroke, diabetes, kidney problems over the next 10 years), smoking cessation.

The NHS midwifery team will also be able to provide pregnancy health advice, advice on childhood immunisations and whooping cough vaccinations for pregnant women and people. To receive the vaccination the pregnant person needs to be between 16 and 32 weeks of pregnancy. 

Please note that the NHS team can only provide general pregnancy enquiries. If you have any concerns about your pregnancy or health, please contact your local GP.
