The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and charismatic individual to join our team as a Radio Presenter Superstar. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of retro music, entertain and engage our listeners, and become a beloved voice across our beautiful County. If you're a motivated self-starter with a passion for radio and a love for the hits of yesteryears, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging and entertaining radio shows that captivate listeners and keep them coming back for more.
• Curate playlists of classic hits from the '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s, showcasing the best of retro music while sharing interesting stories and trivia.
• Conduct interviews with special guests, musicians, and local celebrities, adding depth and variety to our programming.
• Interact with listeners on-air, over the phone, and through social media, building strong connections and fostering a sense of community.
• Collaborate with our team to develop creative content ideas, promotions, and events that enhance the listener experience and drive engagement.

Requirements:

• Passion for retro music and a deep knowledge of hits from past decades, along with an engaging and personable on-air presence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with listeners of all ages and backgrounds.
• Creativity and innovation, with a knack for crafting compelling stories, conducting engaging interviews, and keeping listeners entertained.
• Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Previous experience in radio presenting, broadcasting, or related fields is preferred.
• Create and edit audio using programmes like Adobe Audition and Audacity
• Attend face to events whilst out and about at our events
