Aviation fans across Cornwall have been treated to an incredibly rare sight this week as Spitfires and a P‑51 Mustang operate passenger flights from Cornwall Airport Newquay.

Cornwall is now officially in drought, joining six other areas of the UK as the Environment Agency warns that half of England is facing rapidly worsening conditions.

A circus which comes to Cornwall every year has announced it has made history – by becoming the first touring circus in the UK to run solely on solar power.

It was an evening of celebration in Camborne on Thursday, as residents, nominees and local organisations were recognised at the Camborne Community Awards.
