As the sun shone down on Cornwall at the weekend, hundreds of people welcomed the return of Camborne Show.
Held on Saturday, July 18 at Gear Farm, just outside Camborne, the event enjoyed its second successful year at the new site.
There was plenty to see and do throughout the day - from live music and entertainment to a packed schedule of livestock classes, craft tents and family activities.
The show’s roots stretch back to the early 1940s, when the Holman family launched the event as a fundraiser for the Red Cross during the war.
The first official show in 1942 saw Holman carpenters build all the exhibition stands, with company wagons transporting equipment to the showground to help local exhibitors put on a proper Camborne shindig.
In its early years, the show focused mainly on horses, cattle and horticulture.
Over time, the lineup has grown to include goats, sheep, rabbits and even llamas - along with horse and dog displays, trade stands, children’s entertainment, music and more.
