Volunteer crew members at Looe RNLI Lifeboat Station have celebrated a series of training achievements after months of hard work and dedication.
The station has congratulated crew members Dave, Rich, Adam, James and Goron on reaching key milestones within the RNLI's Operational Competence Framework.
Former shore crew volunteer Dave has progressed to boat crew after successfully completing the Crew Emergency Procedures Course at RNLI College in Poole, allowing him to respond to call-outs as he continues training towards Tier 1 crew status.

Meanwhile, James and Adam have qualified as drivers on both the Talus MB4-H launch tractor and the station's agricultural tractor. Rich and Goron have also qualified as agricultural tractor drivers, enabling them to launch the station's D Class inshore lifeboats.
James, Rich, Goron and Adam have additionally passed assessments to become Head Launchers, a key operational role at the station.

Looe's newest boat crew members have also continued progressing towards their Tier 1 assessments, recently taking part in a veering and towing training exercise in Looe Bay.
Lifeboat Operations Manager Clive praised the volunteers' commitment and thanked the wider crew for supporting colleagues through their training while maintaining their own operational competencies.
