Joint Statement from Truro City Council & Cornwall Event Cabins - Truro Christmas Market, Lemon Quay
As Storm Darragh is expected to cause significant wind gusts of up to 80mph this weekend, the unfortunate decision has been made to close the Christmas Market on Lemon Quay this Saturday 7th December. This difficult decision was not made lightly; however, the safety of the public and the traders must always be the City Council's & Cornwall Event Cabins' priority.
The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning, which will be in place from 03.00 - 21.00 on Saturday 7th December.
