Qualified Electrician- Full Time
We’re a busy, growing Cornish company and we’re on the lookout for a skilled, motivated electrician to join us full-time on a permanent PAYE basis. As a trusted contractor to high-profile local businesses, we take pride in delivering high-quality electrical work across industrial, commercial, and selected residential projects.
No day is the same here! From large Commercial Solar PV installs, to working in factories, on a cliff top or at a Powerplant! Be ready to get involved in a variety of services, including testing, electrical installations, solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial, commercial and domestic electrical systems and equipment in line with current regulations and standards.
- Conduct fault finding, testing, and inspection to ensure compliance and safety
- Work independently and collaboratively with colleagues to deliver projects including new installs, upgrades, and refurbishments.
- Confidently manage projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Complete job documentation and maintain high standards of workmanship
- Provide a great experience for customers with clear communication and a professional approach
Requirements
Essential:
- At least 3+ years’ experience across commercial and domestic electrical work
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition (BS7671)
- Testing & Inspection 2391
- Experience with EV charging systems
- Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
- A reliable, detail-focused, professional approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience with solar PV and battery storage installations.
- Basic IT/computer skills.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
