About the role
We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Civil Operative 3, to work within the Highways and Environment Department.
The successful candidate will be working out of the St Columb Depot completing various Highways Maintenance works.
The role of Civils Operative 3 will include the following duties:
Working as part of a team
Kerbing
Drainage
Hand lay Bitmac
Stonework
Blockwork
Formwork and concrete laying
The operation of plant equipment (Roller, Dumper, Mini excavator etc.)

About you
We are looking for you to bring:
- Groundwork experience
- Good numeracy, and literacy and basic IT skills
- Full driving licence
- CITB Health & Safety qualification or the ability to achieve such.
- CSCS Registration or demonstrable equivalence
- NVQ2 in a related subject or equivalent relevant experience.

Salary: £35,823
Working Hours: 45 hours per week
