Christmas Toy Appeal with Hawkins Motor Group:

Christmas is a time of joy, magic and togetherness – but for some families across Cornwall, the festive season can bring added challenges. That’s why Cornwall’s Rewind Radio, with the support of Hawkins Motor Group, is proud to have completed the 2025 Christmas Toy Appeal.

The toys have been carefully delivered to three special charities: the Children’s Ward at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Penhaligon’s Friends, who support bereaved children and their families and Children's Hospice South West, who provide hospice care for babies, children and young people living with life-limiting conditions and their whole family.

Due to the kindness and generosity of those who have donated to the Christmas Toy Appeal, we have been inundated with toys. Our three appointed charities have been appointed their maximum amount of toys that they are able to take. This has meant we could donate the remaining toys to children this Christmas through organisations and charities which have included:

17. Gooseberry Bush Day Nursery

Together, we have spread joy, created smiles, and helped make Christmas magical for children in Cornwall.
