Launceston Voluntary First Aid Service are holding a free event for children to come along and learn first aid

We are holding an event for children aged between 4 and 16, (all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times) here they can come along and learn about first aid, from putting on a plaster to doing CPR, the event will have different areas where children can watch and have a go in all aspects of first aid, placing a patient into recovery position, choking, calling for assistance and including defib training.
Parents/guardians will find refreshments available for a donation.
