A highlight in the show calendar - Launceston Show returns on 25 July for another year – bigger and better than ever before. The show promises to be a spectacular celebration of community spirit, rural heritage, and entertainment for all ages.
So what should visitors expect?
Dedicated children’s area
New for 2024, a thoughtfully curated children’s area with stalls, sweets, rides and fun – a great place for young people to have a run around. Take part in the magician and circus workshop too.
With nearby catering and refreshments for parents – a good place to leave the Dads too!
Entertainment
Another new addition to this year’s show – The Stage! Welcoming talented members from choirs, dance troupes and bands – The Stage is a must see at the show. There’s something to keep everyone entertained throughout the day.
Showing
Bringing Launceston Show back to its agricultural roots are the livestock and equestrian rings, where competitors battle it out to be Best in Show, and spectators marvel at the skill and expertise of the handlers with their animals.
Artisan crafts and food
A host of artisan crafts and food awaits visitors to the show. The ever popular Creative Community Marquee will be home to produce, preserves, baking, arts, crafts and numerous children's classes.
Savour the best of Cornwall’s culinary delights with an array of food stalls offering everything from traditional Cornish pasties to gourmet street food. Browse through a diverse range of stalls featuring handmade crafts, local produce, and bespoke goods.
