One of Cornwall’s much‑loved attractions now has lifesaving equipment described as a “real milestone moment.”
Roskillys, based at St Keverne, announced today (Tuesday) that it now has a defibrillator, thanks to a campaign led by Croust House restaurant manager Sharon Stephens.
In a post shared on the Roskillys Facebook page, a spokesperson said: “We’re incredibly pleased to announce that Roskillys now has a defibrillator!
“A huge thanks to St Keverne Parish Council for providing this vital piece of equipment, and to our very own Croust House Manager, Sharon Stephens, for campaigning to make it happen.
“This is a real milestone for Roskillys and a brilliant testament to Sharon’s hard work and determination in pushing for a defibrillator to be made available here.”

Roskillys said the new lifesaving equipment will benefit not only the ever‑growing number of visitors to the site, but also staff and members of the local community.
“It’s incredibly important to us that access to this potentially life‑saving equipment is available when it’s needed,” the spokesperson added.
The defibrillator is located at the bottom of the Roskillys car park, at the hand‑wash station. It can also be found using What3Words: products.modes.songbirds.
“We hope it’s something that will never need to be used, but knowing it’s here and accessible is hugely reassuring.
“A massive thank you again to everyone who helped make this possible.”
