The Lizard is gearing up for a vibrant Bank Holiday weekend as the Lizard Classic Rally & Show returns on Sunday, August 30.
Held at The Lizard, the much-loved annual event brings together an impressive mix of vehicles – from gleaming pre ’97 classics to motorcycles, military machines, commercial vehicles, tractors, racing specials and more.
Visitors can expect a colourful display stretching across the showground, with everything from polished vintage favourites to rugged working vehicles. The event typically attracts families, collectors and holidaymakers, making it one of the peninsula’s most eye-catching summer fixtures.
Stalls, car boot bargains and local food
Alongside the motors, the show offers plenty to explore:
- Stalls and traders selling crafts, memorabilia and motoring goods
- Car boot treasures for bargain hunters
- Food and drink from local vendors, adding to the relaxed, family‑friendly atmosphere
A familiar mascot returns
Adding a playful touch to the day’s festivities is the rally’s cheerful cartoon duck mascot, now a recognisable part of the event’s branding and promotional material.
Stay updated
Organisers are encouraging visitors to follow updates on Facebook via The Lizard Classic Rally and Show for announcements, timings and sneak peeks ahead of the weekend.
