E-Fit issued in hunt for Newquay sexual assault suspect

Police have issued an E-Fit image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the rape of a teenage girl which occurred in the St Columb Minor area of Newquay in November.

The attack took place between 6pm and 7.30pm in the area of Penwartha Close and Stafford Close, on Sunday 27 November.

As part of police enquiries, investigating officers have released an E-Fit image of an individual they would like to trace.

Detective Constable Nicola Curnow, from the Major Crime Investigation Team, said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who can help us to identify this person.

“The girl was walking alone when she was approached by an unknown man who assaulted her.

“She is being supported by family and specially trained officers.
