Jonah is a 2.5 year old little boy from Cornwall who is fighting Stage 4 Neuroblastoma.
Jonah was taken to the hospital after experiencing increasing tummy pain and a sudden limp. Tests, including an ultrasound and MRI, revealed something in his hip and upper abdomen. After further evaluations at both Treliske Hospital and Bristol, we were given the words no family ever wants to hear—there was a chance it could be cancer. Our hearts shattered, but we held on to hope that the doctors were wrong.
Sadly, they weren’t. Jonah has been diagnosed with high-risk Stage 4 Neuroblastoma—an aggressive childhood cancer. His treatment will be for 12-18 months and incredibly intense, gruelling, and painful, and our family is devastated. But through it all, Jonah continues to show the world his beautiful, bright smile.
The family is doing everything we can to support Jonah, but the emotional and financial burden is overwhelming. Bristol is hours away from home, making it incredibly difficult for his siblings to visit, and Jonah, who is so used to being surrounded by family, doesn’t understand why they can’t all be with him
