Welcome to Cornwall's Baby Show! Join us at St Austell Leisure Centre for a day filled with all things baby-related. From cute clothing to essential gear, this event has it all for new and expecting parents. Discover the latest trends in baby products, attend informative workshops, and connect with other parents in the community. The NHS health team will also be available to provide: blood pressure check, cholesterol, weight/BMI, health and vaccinations advice, Q-risk score (risk of developing cardiovascular problems such heart attack, stroke, diabetes, kidney problems over the next 10 years), smoking cessation.
The NHS midwifery team will also be able to provide pregnancy health advice, advice on childhood immunisations and whooping cough vaccinations for pregnant women and people. To receive the vaccination the pregnant person needs to be between 16 and 32 weeks of pregnancy.
