The British Society of Enamellers is thrilled to announce an exciting exhibition of contemporary enamelled vessels and wall-hung artwork at THE POLY, 24 Church Street, Falmouth, TR11 3EG. This event will showcase the versatility of kiln-fired vitreous enamels, which, when applied to metal bases such as copper or steel, create unique pieces.
The exhibition will feature works from eight talented artists, including local talents Belinda Coyne and Sinead O’Connor, as well as Bethan Corin, Cathy Timbrell, Navah Langmeyer, Silke Espinet, Jennifer Wells, and Come Roumegoux. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore enamelling techniques that have shaped current practices, with contributions from world-renowned enamellers Jane Short and Maureen Carswell.
A representative from the British Society of Enamellers will be present throughout the exhibition to provide insights into the artists and their techniques.
