Parade around the city to celebrate the first late night shopping. Featuring Father Christmas and his sleigh, musicians, dancers and circus performers.

Taking place on Wednesday 26th November, the Parade inspired by Hall for Cornwall’s Christmas Show Aladdin, will feature Father Christmas in his sleigh, elves, local dance groups, musicians, and circus performers.
Organised by Truro BID, the Father Christmas Parade starts at 6.30pm from Boscawen St with Rock Choir Cornwall singing at 6pm in Boscawen Street.
The Parade Route: from Boscawen St, the parade will go along St Nicholas St, Kenywn St, right at Little Castle St and on to River St. Then back along St Nicholas St, onto Boscawen St, Princes St, Green St and finishing at Back Quay.
Security staff will be on hand, and our local police will be present.
The parade marks the start of the first of four Wednesday late-night shopping evenings, and a final, extra late-night shopping on Monday 22nd December.
Many shops will be open until 9pm and both The Truro Christmas Market & Boscawen Street Christmas Market will also be open until 9pm.
The main shopping streets will be traffic-free all day, with the Boscawen Street Christmas Markets hosted by Truro Farmers Market, Cornwall Shop Small and Truro BID.
The Truro Park and Ride runs later with the last service leaving the city at 21:30. Services towards Tregurra Park will use the River St bus stop and services towards Langarth Park will use the Victoria Square stop.
The Father Christmas Parade is being brought to the city by Truro BID and sponsored by Coodes Solicitors.
