Cornwall’s Rewind Radio is delighted to announce the official launch of the Cornwall’s Rewind Radio Business Awards 2026, created to celebrate and champion the exceptional businesses, teams and individuals who drive Cornwall’s economy forward.
Following the tremendous success of the station’s recent Cornwall Hero’s Awards - an event dedicated to recognising the inspiring achievements of its listeners - Managing Director Richard Woods, felt it was time to shine a spotlight on the wider business community across the Duchy. With many organisations having faced challenging trading conditions in recent years, the awards aim to acknowledge the resilience, innovation and dedication that keep Cornwall thriving.
Nominations officially open on Thursday 4th December 2025, inviting businesses and individuals from across Cornwall to put themselves or others forward for recognition.
The celebration will culminate in a prestigious gala evening at the magnificent Tregenna Castle on 22nd May 2026, where the winners will be announced in front of industry peers, community leaders and supporters of Cornish enterprise.
The 2026 awards feature 17 categories, designed to reflect the diversity and talent within the county’s business landscape. Categories include:
- Employee of the Year
- Employer of the Year
- Small Business of the Year

Richard Woods, Managing Director said:
“There are so many different businesses across many sectors from construction to marine, minerals, digital and the creative industries, plus more that all need recognition for the long hours, hard work and grit through what has been, and continues to be, tough times. We are proud to be putting local businesses, and those who work within them, on a pedestal and showcasing them across the County.”
Entering the awards is simple. You can nominate yourself, another person, or a business by visiting: rewindradio.co.uk/businessawards. Nominations are open to all businesses operating within Cornwall, regardless of size or sector.
