Helston Veterans Football Club is calling on local footballers aged 35 and over to join its growing squad ahead of the new season.
The team, which forms part of Helston Athletic, is encouraging anyone who still loves the game - or wants to get back into it - to come along, train, and be part of a supportive, social and competitive veterans’ set‑up.
The club says its focus is simple: fitness, friendship and football. Players can expect regular training sessions, organised matches and a strong sense of camaraderie.
A spokesperson for Helston Veterans FC said: “The new season is around the corner, and we’re looking for more players to join our team.
“If you’re 35 or over and fancy a run out on Sunday mornings, please get in touch.
“We’ve got a great bunch of lads and fantastic facilities at Helston Athletic Football Club.”
