Over the past decade, Ryanair has carried more than 2 million passengers through Cornwall Airport Newquay.

To mark the milestone, the airline has launched a limited‑time seat sale, with fares from £29.99 across six routes to and from Newquay - including sun destinations such as Alicante, Faro and Malaga, and popular city break spots like Dublin, Edinburgh and London.

Ryanair’s Director of Communications, Jade Kirwan, said: “We’re delighted to mark 2 million Ryanair passengers through Cornwall Airport Newquay since we began operations to and from Newquay a decade ago.

“This significant milestone showcases Ryanair’s continued investment and growth in the region, delivering important low‑fare connectivity, traffic, tourism, jobs, and economic growth.”

Cornwall Airport Newquay’s Commercial Director, Nigel Scott, said: “Welcoming two million Ryanair passengers through Cornwall Airport Newquay is a significant milestone and reflects the strength of our long‑standing partnership since operations began in 2016.

“Over the past nine years, we've seen continued growth in demand, with Ryanair playing an important role in improving connectivity for both local communities and the many visitors travelling to Cornwall.

“This achievement demonstrates the value of providing customers with affordable, convenient travel options, while supporting tourism and the wider regional economy.

“We look forward to continuing to grow our partnership with Ryanair and welcoming many more passengers through Cornwall Airport Newquay in the years ahead.”
