Over 250 attendees gathered at Cornwall’s Baby Show this Sunday at Gwel an Mor, marking a resounding success in celebrating pregnancy, parenthood, and family health. The event brought together expectant parents, new families, healthcare professionals, and a wide array of local businesses and services, creating a vibrant hub of support and information.
Proudly supported by Cornwall’s Rewind Radio and NHS Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Cornwall’s Baby Show offered a welcoming atmosphere for visitors to explore various stalls, receive expert guidance, and participate in educational workshops. One of the event's key highlights was the presence of the NHS vaccination team, who provided on-site health checks and vaccinations for eligible pregnant women, offering protection against Whooping Cough and RSV.
“We are absolutely delighted with the turnout and the positive energy that filled the day,” said Helen Snowden, Event Coordinator at Cornwall's Rewind Radio. “The Baby Show provided an invaluable opportunity to connect families with the support, information, and resources they need during such a pivotal stage in their lives.”
The event featured a diverse range of local traders and service providers, showcasing baby products, maternity services, parenting resources, and well-being support. Attendees were able to engage directly with professionals, ask questions, and take-home practical materials and complimentary items.
