Learn2 Cornwall is delighted to announce the appointment of Kev Nancekivell, 1st team coach of Plymouth Argyle FC as our new Brand Ambassador, following his visit to our site in Hayle on Monday 24th November.
Kev, a widely respected figure, known for his dedication to community development, teamwork, and youth empowerment, brings an inspiring energy to our mission of transforming lives through accessible, skills-based learning.
Kev spent the day meeting our SEND learners, staff, and programme leads, gaining first-hand insight into the impact Learn2 Cornwall has across the county. His engagement with learners, particularly those overcoming barriers to education, highlighted his passion for supporting people to reach their full potential.
Kev Nancekivell said:
“It’s a real privilege to join Learn2 Cornwall as their Brand Ambassador. The work happening here is genuinely life changing. The learners I met on Monday showed incredible resilience and drive, and the team behind them is clearly dedicated to helping people move forward, gain confidence, and open new doors for their future.”
As part of his role, Kev will help promote Learn2 Cornwall’s expanding programmes, support outreach across local communities, and raise awareness of the organisation’s commitment to providing high-quality training for learners of all ages and backgrounds. His involvement will also strengthen partnerships with schools, employers, and community groups throughout Cornwall.
A spokesperson for Learn2 Cornwall said:
“We are thrilled to welcome Kev to the Learn2 family. His values align perfectly with our vision, and his influence within the community will help us reach even more SEND learners who can benefit from the opportunities we offer. His visit on 24th November had a real impact, staff and students left feeling energised and inspired.”
Learn2 Cornwall continues to grow its provision of SEND educational programmes, apprenticeships, employability support, and community-led learning opportunities. With Kev Nancekivell now championing its work, the organisation looks ahead to an exciting year of expansion, innovation, and deeper local engagement.
