New Christmas Market at Cornwall Gold

Following two incredibly successful years since re-vamping their jewellery showroom and launching their interactive Tolgus Mill exhibition, Cornwall Gold are launching a brand-new Christmas market.

Running from 5th to 8th December, they will be enticing visitors to Christmas shop in the marquee whilst immersed in Cornish history - the only place in the county where this is possible.

Welcoming visitors from 5th to the 8th of December, the brand-new Cornwall Gold Christmas Market will be a hassle-free way to enjoy a celebrated indoor festive event. Their convenient location is just a few minutes off the A30 near Portreath and the combination of free parking and free entry to the completely indoors interactive Tolgus Mill exhibition and Grade II listed Tolgus Mill will make for a unique Christmas shopping experience, one shrouded in Cornish history.

Set to be a Christmas market like no other, shoppers will be able to take advantage of 40 local stall holders as well as the stunning pieces in the Cornwall Gold jewellery showroom. The Pantry will be serving up tempting home-made treats including mince pies, mulled wine and hot chocolates alongside their usual delicious menu. With plans well-underway for plenty of festive fun, including Santa and possibly even reindeers, it is set to be an unmissable date for Cornish Christmas Calendar.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy the interactive Tolgus Mill exhibition, created in 2023 after reducing the size of their jewellery showroom to make way. Completely free to enter and enjoy, this welcome addition to Cornwall Gold has seen more of the Tolgus tin incorporated into their jewellery collections. It has also resulted in the completion of the much-needed restoration project on the roof of the Grade II Listed Tolgus Tin Mill, with several others in the pipeline. In addition, their award-winning café The Pantry, has gained a reputation of its own, all forming strong foundations for this launch of a new Christmas market.

With easy access, award-winning food and drink, plenty to see and do plus small local businesses to shop from, Cornwall Gold are confident it will be the ideal way to get your Christmas wrapped up. A celebration of Cornish history, Cornish people and local Cornish businesses, we are very excited to be launching our market this year. With fairy lights, a hot chocolate hut, Santa, mulled wine and of course our very own sparkly showroom showcasing our beautiful jewellery collections, we are confident that this will offer an unrivalled shopping experience. Running from 9am until 6pm on the 5th to 8th December, visitors to Cornwall Gold’s Christmas Market will be able to park for free, bring their dogs and enjoy some festive time with their family as they explore this important piece of Cornish history.
