Ahoy there, Newquay! Prepare to raise your tankards and stomp your boots—the wildly popular Old Time Sailors are sailing back into town for a rip-roaring night of music, mayhem, and maritime magic at Newquay Orchard on Monday 28th April 2025.
This unforgettable evening invites all landlubbers and sea dogs alike to climb aboard the Sailorette and be swept away on a voyage through time. With a crew of rowdy musicians wielding everything from fiddles and banjos to accordions and washboards, expect singalongs, dancing, and the type of wild musical energy that will have you shouting “Yo-ho-ho!” before the night is through.
Fancy dress is heartily encouraged, so don your best breeches, corsets, and captain’s hats—this is your chance to become part of the Motley Crew for a night of nostalgic seafaring spirit. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a curious first mate, the Old Time Sailors promise to deliver a high-octane, full-sensory experience that brings old-world shanties back to life in raucous, rollicking fashion.
Food and drink will be flowing from the Heart & Soul Café and bar, open from 6:00pm, so come early, grab a hearty meal or a warming drink, and soak in the atmosphere before the music begins.
Please note, parking will be available at Newquay Tretherras School, just a short stroll from the Orchard. As an outdoor venue, Newquay Orchard encourages all guests to dress appropriately for the elements—the show will go on come rain or shine unless the weather turns dangerous.
Tickets are priced at £17.50, and early booking is advised to avoid disappointment—previous visits from the Old Time Sailors have been sell-out events!
