A WIDE array of Cornish delights was won by Newquay’s Sharon Leigh Stewart when she told the town’s Specsavers staff exactly what she thought of them.
Sharon’s name was among those entered into a prize draw after completing a customer feedback form at the opticians.
Specsavers Newquay said it is committed to providing the best possible service, so it encourages customers to give feedback at every opportunity.
With a hamper full of goodies from various Newquay businesses on offer to the winning entry, Sharon couldn’t believe her luck when her name was drawn.
She said: “This was a lovely surprise. Being a small business owner myself, I understand the importance of sharing constructive feedback in order to help businesses thrive.
“I honestly didn't expect that I would win this delightful hamper, which I am so happy about. I’m really glad that my feedback is helping the store and its staff. It’s great that they want to provide the best service they can for the people of Newquay.”
The Newquay high street businesses that contributed to the hamper’s contents included Cornish Oven, Cornish Cream, Shipton & Co, Hunters, Costa and Cornish Makers.

“The hamper contained more than £130 worth of goods, including some that were donated for free by high street businesses, which is amazing.
