Bodmin Jail is proud to announce a new collaboration with Bodmin Creative Studio, bringing a rotating collection of artwork by Cornwall’s most talented local artists to the Moor Café.
The first installation is now live, transforming the café into a vibrant showcase of creativity and community. Each piece, carefully selected by Bodmin Creative Studio, captures the essence of Cornwall, from its rugged coastlines and windswept moorland to the rich textures and colours of everyday Cornish life.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate the region’s artistic spirit within the unique setting of Bodmin Jail,” said Jess Marlton, GM at Bodmin Jail. “The Moor Café has always been a place for people to relax and reflect, now it’s also a space to discover the creativity that defines Cornwall.”
The exhibition forms part of Bodmin Jail’s ongoing commitment to supporting local talent and enriching visitor experiences. All artworks displayed will be available for purchase directly through Bodmin Creative Studio, allowing visitors to take home a piece of Cornwall’s artistic heritage.
The Moor Café is open to the public all year round, not just to those visiting the attraction - making it the perfect spot for locals and travellers alike to enjoy good food, great coffee, and now, art inspired by the wild heart of Cornwall.
Art on the Moors invites everyone to experience creativity and community at the heart of Bodmin.
