Cornwall’s Rewind Radio is delighted to announce that experienced broadcaster Craig Hicks will be joining the station to present Duchy Daytimes, airing 1pm–4pm, Monday to Friday, starting tomorrow.
With a radio career spanning more than three decades, Craig brings a wealth of experience, warmth and personality to the Rewind Radio family. His lifelong passion for broadcasting began at just four years old, when curiosity got the better of him and he dismantled his first portable radio to discover how it worked. That early fascination grew into a career that has seen him entertaining audiences, sharing relatable stories, and building a reputation for humour, authenticity and great company behind the mic.
Craig has already been a familiar supporter of the station’s journey, cheering on the growth of Cornwall’s Rewind Radio and backing the work of fellow presenter former Head of Programming Scott Temple from afar. Now, he steps into the helm himself, ready to connect directly with listeners across Cornwall and beyond.
Importantly for loyal fans, all the much-loved daytime features will remain, including Two Tunes at Two, Flashback 5, and Rewind Your Mind, alongside Craig’s own blend of storytelling, music knowledge and light-hearted fun.
Managing Director Richard Woods said:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Craig to the team. He’s someone who has supported Scott and the station from a distance as we’ve grown, so it feels very special to now have him stepping into the studio with us. Craig brings huge experience, relatable stories and a natural sense of humour that listeners will instantly connect with. He’s the perfect fit for Duchy Daytimes and we know our audience is going to love spending their afternoons with him.”
Craig’s arrival marks another exciting step forward for Cornwall’s Rewind Radio as the station continues to strengthen grow while delivering the music and personality listeners know and love.
Listeners are encouraged to tune in weekdays from 1pm to 4pm to give Craig a warm Rewind welcome and enjoy an afternoon packed with feel-good favourites, familiar features and plenty of great company.
