Eleven inspiring women from Cornwall are preparing to share their extraordinary ideas as the speaker line-up for the first TEDxPorthtowan is announced.
Taking place on International Women’s Day, Sunday 8 March 2026 at Mount Pleasant Eco Park, the theme for TEDxPorthtowan Women is Breaking the Mould: Every Generation Empowered.
The event promises to bring together diverse voices across themes of equality, climate, innovation, leadership, women’s health, activism, community and science,
From exploring telepathic communication with non-speaking autistic individuals and reimagining justice through art, to leveraging AI to expose workplace toxicity, these talks challenge conventional thinking and ignite new possibilities.
Speakers will delve into themes of climate leadership without authority, ancient wisdom for a sustainable future, mental health beyond the brain, empowerment through music, and the power of anger as a force for change.
