About the role

We are currently seeking a Fleet Compliance Scheduler . The role involves creating and managing the asset maintenance schedule, ensuring optimal use of internal workshops, external suppliers, and DFT testing stations. This must be done in compliance with the Operator’s Licence obligations and customer requirements.

You will coordinate with both internal workshop teams and external suppliers to establish a schedule for planned maintenance and safety inspections. You will be responsible for ensuring all activities are completed within the required timeframes and ISO block weeks.

Additionally, the role includes booking vehicle testing appointments with DFT testing stations in line with relevant legislation and guidelines. The role holder will also be responsible for informing customers of the scheduled maintenance dates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of creating and managing the asset maintenance schedule
  • Optimise the use of internal workshops, external suppliers, and DFT testing stations
  • Coordinate with internal workshops and external suppliers to develop and communicate planned maintenance and safety inspection schedules
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed within the designated timeframes and ISO block weeks
  • Schedule vehicle testing appointments with DFT testing stations in compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines
  • Proactively manage the schedule to respond to changing demands from customers, workshops, and suppliers

About you

Candidates will need to have;

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication skills (written, spoken and electronic)
  • Experience of creating and coordinating planned maintenance schedules
  • Full driving licence

Our offer to you

Salary: £24,308 - £27,538 

Working Hours: 37 hours - part time opportunities will be considered 

Contract Type: Permanent

Base:   Western Group Centre, Radnor Road, Scorrier, Redruth, Cornwall, TR16 5EH
