Multiple fire crews are tackling a house fire in Chacewater

Cornwall Fire and Rescue were called to reports of a fire at a property in Chacewater at just before 5 this morning.

ONGOING INCIDENT

As crews arrived they discovered large plumes of smoke coming from the property and requested for more units to attend to support with tackling the blaze.

6 fire engines are currently on site tackling the blaze.

* Update: 7.45 - Fire crews have updated to say they are making good progress in tackling the blaze

* Update: 10.00 - Fire crews are starting to depart the scene now, but others remain on site looking for any hot spots.
