Roche, Cornwall – TR7 Indoor Skatepark CIC, a pioneering community-focused company, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its brand-new indoor skatepark on April 6th. This cutting-edge facility, nestled near Roche, is set to become a cornerstone for skateboarding enthusiasts from Cornwall and beyond, offering a space where people of all ages and abilities can learn, practice, and enjoy skateboarding.
Following the success of their unique skatepark in Newquay, Cornwall, co-founders Martina and Chaz Merryweather are excited to unveil their new 370sq ft indoor skatepark designed by the esteemed Skatepark Architect Trevor Johnson. The new venue will feature an array of skateboarding elements including a mini ramp, rails, ledges, and hips, as well as an open area for beginners, and not forgetting the much-anticipated return of their innovative harness/rope system designed to make learning to skate risk-free and fun for everyone.Grand Opening Event Details

Time: Start at 12 PM, with special events from 5 PM to 7 PM
Location: Near Roche train station, PL26 8LG
Tickets: £3 for spectators, £8 for skaters (includes raffle ticket)
The celebration will commence at 12 PM and is set to feature an exhilarating line-up of live DJs and professional skaters, who will showcase their skills with dynamic demonstrations from 5 PM to 7 PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase tickets at the door, priced at £3 for spectators and £8 for skaters, the latter of which includes a raffle ticket for a special draw hosted by Crowdfunder UK. This raffle promises exciting prizes and supports the skatepark's community-focused projects.

Our unique harness/rope system is making a comeback, and we can't wait for both new and returning skaters to try it out. The skatepark's design incorporates a variety of skating elements alongside a comfortable spectator area, ensuring an inclusive experience for everyone.
